Superior’s 110 year history
ESTaBlished in 1914
Was purchased by John T. Lynch, then Fire Chief of Kansas City for his four sons, and began by operating out of the Lynch family home with a horse and wagon. Later we moved to 2715 Prospect and bought two trucks.
Expansion in 1930
The Superior Moving & Storage team moved to larger facilities at 2505 & 2504 Prospect with five trucks.
modernization in 1961
Moved to 2020 Walnut. The horse and wagon had expanded to 40 trucks and vans. Our 98,000 square foot warehouse is now capable of all types of storage.
recognition in 1988
Certified as a Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) minority status, Wheaton Van Lines largest Mid-western agency.
